Can I participate if I’m not a professional runner?

Yes. La Enchilada 12K is open to runners of all experience levels. This is a recreational race created for you to enjoy the experience, take in the course, and make the most of every kilometer.

Can children participate?

Yes, there are age categories available, with both male and female divisions.

How can I register my child for La Enchiladita Kids?

Registration for La Enchiladita Kids is free and will take place on race day starting at 8:30 a.m., at the La Enchilada booth located in the finish area.
This event is open to children and teens ages 4 to 16, with short-distance races assigned according to age group.

What is included in my registration?

1. Race bib

4. Recovery kit and access to special areas (massages, giveaways, official race photo)

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

No. Registrations are personal and non-transferable.

What happens if I can’t attend the race?

Registrations are non-refundable. Your registration covers participation in the event and race-day benefits.

When can I pick up my race bib?

Race bib pickup will be available only on Saturday, February 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Plaza Monumental parking lot in Playas de Tijuana.

Can someone else pick up my race bib?

Yes. Someone else may pick up your race bib by presenting the following documents:


-A copy of the registered participant’s ID with a signed authorization from the participant.

-Printed payment confirmation.

-Printed liability waiver signed by the registered participant.

What should I bring on race day?

Wear comfortable running clothes and proper running shoes. Don’t forget your race bib, which must be worn on the front of your shirt and remain visible throughout the race.

How early should I arrive on race day?

We recommend arriving at least one hour before the race starts so you have enough time to get settled, warm up, prepare yourself, and make your way to the starting area.

Will bag check be available?

Yes. Runners may drop off their bags starting at 5:00 a.m.

Bag check closes at 6:30 a.m., so please arrive early and allow enough time to check your belongings before heading to the start area.

Will there be hydration points and medical support during the race?

Yes. During the race, there will be hydration points strategically located at kilometers 3, 6, and 9.

Medical support and an on-site emergency unit will also be available throughout the event if assistance is needed.

What is the time limit to complete the race?

The time limit to complete the course is 2 hours. Once the time established by the organizing committee and local authorities has been exceeded, the runner must end their participation on the course.

In that case, support will be provided by the sweep vehicle, which will transport the runner to the finish area.
